Building Our Capacity for Greater Impact

On August 4, 2025, a dedicated team from Raising Hope Center (Kenya) completed specialized training with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), officially becoming certified Business Development Services (BDS) providers.

This milestone expands our ability to deliver:

Entrepreneurship training
Financial literacy workshops
Mentorship programs
Market linkages for small businesses

With this new capacity, we can empower even more refugees, women, and youth in Kitengela and beyond to build sustainable livelihoods. Together with our supporters in Canada, we are equipping vulnerable communities with the tools to achieve financial independence, resilience, and lasting dignity.

Provide Learning Materials for Vulnerable Children

Campaign Goal: Raise $10,800 to support 72 vulnerable children with essential learning materials for the second term of the 2025 school year.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

School Supplies: Notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and rulers.
Textbooks: Essential books tailored to local curricula to help children stay on track.
Backpacks: Durable bags to carry their materials with pride and ease.

Every $150 donation equips one child with a complete set of school supplies and school meals for the year. Your generosity can help create a lasting impact in their lives.

We are governed by a Board of Directors, who brings experience, vision, integrity, and commitment to upholding high standards of governance. The board drives the decision-making process and facilitates the pursuit of our strategic goals by providing advice on policy, advocacy, fundraising, and public relations.

Raising Hope Centre’s main objective is the Inclusive and sustainable economic development agenda. Driven by the conviction that all people, regardless of where they live, have the right to a dignified and productive livelihood that enables them to live in peace, security, justice, and dignity.
